I figured out how to make these radial waffles using section cuts, now I just need to make some minor alignment adjustments before I laser cut. Each of the radial ribs will have very thin pieces, so I hope the chipboard is strong enough to stay together.
Looks great Lisa! What was your process in getting the radial contours?
ReplyDeleteInstead of using the contour command, I used the section command. I used a bounding box to make it easier to determine where the lines should go. I drew the diagonal lines in the top view and then put all the cuts in a layer. The rest of the steps to make them volumes were the same as the contour commands!
